Japanese Kutani porcelain bowl with red decoration throughout exterior with XO motif at bottom below leaf tip band under floriform medallions and circular cartouches with floral accents. Interior with three larger cartouches with bird perched amid flowers and leaves; a mountainous scene with scattered buildings by water; and a floral and prunus fruit scene with flying butterfly. Marked on bottom. Height 3.9", diameter 9.5".
