Italian Rococo Silvered Gesso Mirror, 18th century, the oval, cartouche-shaped cresting with C-scrolls and foliage and centered by a mirror plate; lower frame with rectangular mirror plate flanked by openwork borders carved with foliage, with C-scroll carved corner pendants, ht. 47, wd. 30 in. Moderate worming throughout; one piece lost to upper left scroll on shoulder; lower right pendant broken off but present; age typical minor defects.
