China Boy with Turned Head, Germany, c. 1850, attributed to Kestner, glazed porcelain shoulder head, painted and molded features with blue eyes, short black hair with brush stroked bangs, cloth body with glazed porcelain arms, wearing lightweight wool two-piece boy's suit with red trim, and dark brown leather shoes, ht. 11 in., (very good, rub to nose, glaze chip on cheek).
