Eight Bertoia Chairs Metal and wool Knoll International, New York, c. 1954 Seat and back composed of a metal gridwork in black finish with blue wool slip cover raised on metal rod frame, covers need cleaning, one without cover, ht. 30 in. Provenance: Estate of Richard Filipowski (1923-2008), a sculptor of international repute who taught visual design in the School of Architecture at MIT. Condition: Some wear and one with a few metal breaks
