Tomas Chavez Morado (Mexican, b. 1914) Extasis Signed and dated "Tomas Chavez Morado/57" in the cast. Bronze with dark brown patina, approximately 7 x 18 x 9 1/2 in. Condition: Surface grime. Provenance: Purchased from Galeria de Arte Misrachi, S.A., Mexico D.F., in 1962 to the present owner by descent. Small hole (approx. 1/8 x 1/8 in.) between the two heads that may have been previously a bronze casting vent.
