Odd Fellows Ceremonial Carved and Painted Wooden Heart and Hand Staff, America, 19th century, a symbol of charity used in the ceremonies of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the carved gilded hand with heart mounted on a red-painted wooden staff, including stand, (imperfections), overall ht. 74 1/2 in. The heart has been repainted, repaired crack on the ruffled cuff.
