Blue-painted Pine Six-Board Chest, New England, early 19th century, of dovetailed construction on bracket feet, old surface, (paint wear and minor repair), ht. 20, wd. 36, dp. 15 1/2 in. full-length patch to hinged edge of top; some renailing; repairs to base, especially back left bracket renailed and with added blocks; renailing to case perhaps just to tighten.
