Friedrich Gauermann (Austrian, 1807-1862) Boy at the River Bank Signed "F. Gauermann" on the reverse. Oil on board, 3 1/2 x 4 1/4 in. (8.9 x 10.8 cm), framed. Condition: Retouch, varnish inconsistencies, surface grime. Metallic paint from frame liner smudged along top, bottom, and right edges of board, craquelure, minor losses along edges.
