Theodore Frederick Hussa (American, 1909-1939) Grey Barns Signed and dated "Hussa '39" l. r., titled on a presentation plaque, inscribed and titled "Bennington Museum + Art Gallery...Hussa" on a period label affixed to the reverse. Oil on Masonite, 18 x 24 in. (45.7 x 61.0 cm), framed. Condition: Minor retouch, mild surface grime. Provenance: Sold to benefit the Bennington Museum, Vermont.
