Doel Reed (American, 1895-1985) Rest, 1941, edition of 25, published by Associated American Artists (Cohen & Rogers, 43). Signed "Doel Reed" in pencil l.r., identified on an AAA label on the reverse. Aquatint and etching on paper, plate size 9 x 15 in. (22.6 x 38.0 cm), framed. Condition: Mat burn, subtle toning, not examined out of frame. Masking taped to beveled mat on all four sides, acid burn verso from corrugated cardboard backing, sheet size 11 x 17 in., mat burn, very minor foxing to margins.
