Bertha Evelyn Clausen Jaques (American, 1863-1941) Japanese Pine. Signed "Bertha E. Jaques" in pencil l.r., titled in pencil l.l. Etching with coloring on paper, plate size 9 7/8 x 7 7/8 in. (25.0 x 20.0 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning and mat burn, not examined out of frame. The mat burn is unobtrusive, the toning is even and gentle. The sheet is gently rippled. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
