Jacques Callot (French, 1592-1635) Lot of Two Scenes: Les troupes en marche, and Attaque des forts avancés de Bone from LA VIE DE FERDINAND Ier DE MÉDICIS, c. 1619, probably impressions before letters (Lieure, 153 & 159). Both inscribed beneath the image. Engravings on paper, plate sizes 8 7/8 x 11 3/4 in. (22.5 x 29.8 cm), one framed, both matted. Condition: Laid down, narrow margins, unobtrusive soiling. Troupes has not been removed from the frame, but is presumably laid down like the other. Both have foxing, but it is more prevalent to the former.
