Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989) 50 Secrets of Magic Craftsmanship /Book with an Original Drawing, 1948, published by New York: The Dial Press, translated by Haakon M. Chevalier, numbered 6 of 49 copies, containing a signed sepia watercolor drawing depicting classical figures before a European town dated 1948, the limitations page later inscribed by Dali dated 1952, half vellum, pictorial boards and slipcase, folio. Condition: Minor soiling, slipcase with minor wear and soiling and cracks to upper edge. The edges of the pages are gilded. The sheets are only subtly toned. The slip case is not very stable (as noted previously), and the image on both it and the book cover are stained.
