Impressive Antique Silver and Garnet Brooch, 18th century, designed as a large plume collet-set with large pear and oval-shape rose-cut garnets, further set with cushion and pear-shape garnets, and suspending pear-shape drops, 7 x 3 1/2 in. , with later fitted box. Note: This jewel is likely an aigrette or another type of hair or hat ornament based on its form and style.
