Pair of Archaic-style Bronze Hu , China, cast in the Warring States period style, the bulbous body crisply cast in low relief with wide horizontal bands of small, tightly coiled scrolls, separated by plain horizontal bands, all below the neck decorated with uplift triangle designs, handles attached to chains running through the jump rings on the cover and sides of the body, ht. 20 3/4 in. Areas of malachite encrustation, loss of details to certain sections.
