Pair of Wedgwood Lessore Decorated Queen's Ware Ewers, England, 1861, design attributed to Hugues Protat, a cherub seated atop the shoulder, goat mask at the handle terminal, each with an enameled depiction of a battle scene, artist signed and impressed marks, ht. 14 1/2 in. Literature: Illustrated in Wedgwood II , by Robin Reilly, p. 385. Each in excellent condition throughout with no cracks, chips or restorations.
