Northern European Painted and Gilt Gesso Carved Wood Figure of an Angel, 18th/19th century, the standing figure with gilded and painted robes to front surface, ht. 45 in. minor age typical worming throughout, with some shrinkage cracking, paint touch-ups, and small areas of gesso/surface loss. wings detach, and with replaced pegs. one wing with a glued break (wings likely later).
