American Victorian "Cary" Rosewood Eight Day Mantel Clock, third quarter 19th century, bearing paper label to back for Welch, Spring & Co. , Forestville, Connecticut, scrolled cresting, with arched glass front door, sides with turned engaged stiles, ht. 20 1/2, wd. 12 3/8 in. Overall very good to excellent condition. Minor chips along front edge of base; minor wear and losses to labels on reverse, key and pendulum present; works complete and looks to be in working order (not guaranteed).
