Louis XVI Style Ormolu-mounted, Painted and Marble-top Kingwood Side Cabinet, late 19th/early 20th century, breakfronted top above a conforming case fitted with a painted door and applied with a plethora of foliate and figural mounts, all centered by a painted panel depicting cherubs in a landscape, ht. 43 1/4, wd. 44 1/2. dp. 19 in. Apron trim piece off but present; shrinkage cracks to sides and moderately heavy rubbing to bronze mounts; scattered losses and touch-ups to painted panel; back legs a little weak; age typical additional imperfections.
