Dresden Painted Porcelain Chalice, late 19th century, the bell-shaped bowl with gold enameled ground to interior and exterior, with reserve to front painted with a pair of artistic cherubs in flight, the stem formed as crouching and kneeling figures of a bathing maiden, a man with wash basin, and a man with a spinning wheel, ht. 5 1/4 in. some scratching to interior gilding. female figure with restorations to her staff and wrist, with loss to top of staff. loss to top of urn on table behind the man with the wheel. unmarked.
