Likely Japanese, late 19th/early 20th century. Souvenir export hand embroidered silk textile panel depicting a nautical clipper ship flanked by British flags on sides, crowned coat of arms at center above ribbon flag banner with "DIEU ET MON DROIT" (God and My Right) below lion and white unicorn. Overall rendered in white, coral pink, silver, brown, and metallic threads on seal gray to champagne silk ground. Framed approximately 24.75" x 22.5". Sight size approximately 16.75" x 14.75".
