Chinese, likely early 20th century. Two framed vertically-aligned hand embroidered silk textile panels with similar but unmatched decoration comprising of one with five blue birds flying at top amid swirling blue clouds above three green weeping willows surrounding arched footbridge in formal garden with stylized rocks and pink and blue flowering plants, two young women depicted in mirrored image in pink robes, two mirrored image children below near water's edge with pink lotus flowers and grasses; the other with four flying blue butterflies at top above pink and blue plants above tapered pagoda flanked by weeping willows with pink and blue flowers above mirrored image women in pink robes near fence line above two mirrored image young ladies below holding pink flowering plants in pots by zig-zag fencing. Both works with silk embroidery on cream-colored silk within light chartreuse green surround with Chinese architecture, trees and plants. Each contained in matching glazed frames approximately 24.4" x 12.3".
