Figural scroll painting on silk depicting two small wooden row boats at top with women amid pink lotus flowers and green leaves (one woman gathering flowers in basket) above courtly building with elegantly dressed young woman holding feathered fan near three men carrying vessels likely with food for celebratory festivity. Overall framed approximately 68.5" x 26.7". Unframed approximately 66.25" x 24.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. T. Elder Pearce in Ellijay, Georgia.
