Chicago: Covici, 1927. 8vo, publisher's orange wrappers. The first two volumes (of 4) of this important literary journal, launched by Ezra Pound in March of 1927. Number 1 contains Ernest Hemingway's "Neothemist Poem" with the mispelling corrected in pencil by Pound, as often found. Light rubbing to extremities; cover no. 1 detached from textblock; intermittent brown spotting.
