Charles George Lewis (English, 1808-1880) and Frederick Bromley (English, early 19th century) after John Prescott Knight (English, 1803-1881). "The Waterloo Heroes Assembled at Apsley House, on the Memorable 18th of June" and "The Peninsular Heroes Assembled at the United Service Club", hand colored engravings, inscribed below image lower left "Painted by J. P. Knight R.A.", and lower right "Engraved by Charles G. Lewis" or "Engraved by F. Bromley". A pair of engravings depicting austere groups of British military men in 19th century interiors, some sitting and some standing, each in formal military dress. Framed approximately 37.5" x 49.25", sight size approximately 24" x 36".
