depicting the Amida Buddha in gilt painted, finely patterned robes, flanked by two Bodhisattvas, one with a Buddha and one a bottle in their crowns, one bearing a lotus form offering, the other with hands clasped in prayer, each figure standing upon two lotus blossoms and supported by swirling clouds, all against an indigo blue ground with gilt radial design, mounted on brocade with gilt wrapped thread embroidery and having a red and gilt painted lotus motif interior border, unsigned. Height 58 1/2 x width 39 3/8 inches.
