Chinese, 18th century. Set of 6 Chinese Export porcelain demitasse cups with 5 saucers en grisaille decorated, the rims enhanced with gilt enamel enclosing maroon triangles, each with three dots within a maroon and gilt border, the body with circular medallion enclosing scenic landscape with lone standing figure encircled in maroon and gilt, the saucer or underbowl similarly decorated. Apparently unmarked. Cup height 2.5", diameter 2.4", saucer height 1.15", diameter 5.15". Provenance: From the Estate of Mrs. Charlotte Topping Smith of Atlanta, Georgia.
