Continental (likely French or Italian), 20th century. A petite window bench with painted teal and rust carved wood frame, the cushion upholstered in pastel yellow and mint green velvet and grosgrain checked fabric with teal silk rope trim, the rolled arms decorated with scroll carving, joined by an upholstered handle, the apron decorated with carved central shell and leaf motif, overall resting on cabriole legs with shell-carved knees, terminating in scroll feet. Approximate height 24", width 23.25", depth 16", seat to floor 19.5".
