(American/British, 1864-1939) oil on board signed twice (lower right) 10 x 13 1/2 inches. in lower right hand quadrant; evidence of several diagonal scratches in upper quadrant; otherwise appears in basic good condition; Under UV, horizontal line of in-painting below upper signature indicating change in composition by artist; in-painting along diagonal scratches in upper quadrant, possibly by hand of the artist; 3 inch vertical stroke of in-painting along left edge, again possibly by hand of the artist. Framed: 16 x 12 1 /4 inches.
