Gossier a Rouen, No. 775, circa 1760. Fine 18K gold watch. Double body, Louis XV, the back engraved with a parrot perched on a basket of flowers with outer floral and foliage decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minutes ring. Gold Louis XV hands. Hinged gilt-brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, giltbrass continental cock with polished-steel end-piece. Signed on the back plate. Diam. 45 mm.
