P. yuer A Florence, circa 1700.Very fine and rare brass, silver and enamel, pair-cased, single-hand alarm watch. 39.6 mm o, hinged gilt brass full plate with vase pillars, two-train, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, double-footed cock, pierced and engraved with asymmetrical foliage, regulator pointer protruding from beneath a semi-circular blued-steel guard below thbridge, wheel and click set-up. Pierced and engraved fixed barrel for the alarm driving four-wheel steel train, striking on a bell.Signed on the movement.Diam. 60 mm. Published in the Sandberg book, page 116-117.
