The MosqueGeorge Prior, London, No. 1427, casemaker's mark AM incuse, probably Angela Marson, hallmarked 1793.Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, triple-cased diamond-set watch, made for the Islamic market. 23.2 mm o, gilt brass full plate, tulip pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, steel, three-arm balance, flat balance spring, one-footed cock pierced and engraved with asymmetrical foliage, rack and pinion regulator with silver plate with Turkish numerals.Signed on dial and movement, inner case stamped with English hallmarks.Diam. 39 mm.
