Châtelain a Paris, No. 155, circa 1785.Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, diamond- and pearl-set dumb quarter repeating watch with chatelaine and matching key and seal. Hinged, gilt brass full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain for the going train, verge escapement, pain three-arm brass balance, blued-steel balance spring, continental cock pierced and engraved.Signed on the dial and the movement, the inside of the back cover stamped with French marks.Diam. 42 mm, length with chatelaine 140 mm.
