Recordon, late Emery, Cockspur Str. , Charing Cross, London, No. 8932, case hallmarked 1806.Very fine, 18K gold quarter-hour dumb repeating watch with special escapement. three-body, "Empire", solid, back cover and band engine-turned, polished bezel, pull-and-twist repeater activation piston in the pendant. white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel "arrow" hands. 45.8 mm., gilt brass, full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusée and chain, ruby cylinder escapement with brass escape wheel, gold three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring with compensation curb, escapement jeweled and capped, small sngle-footed cock engraved with a mask, gilt brass dust-cap, repeating on two gold blocks by depressing pull-and-twist piston in the pendant.Dial and cuvette signed.Diam. 55 mm.
