Black “Louis XVI” hands. Cal. 90 mm., full plate brass, cylindrical pillars, straight line lever escapement, off-center weighted mass for winding the movement,Dial signed Dent, movement signed Andrew Fell.Diameter of clock case 128 mm.Base height 20 cm., base length 71 cm. Notes This clock is based on a system first utilized at the beginning of the 17th century. The motive force of this clock is provided by the weight of the clock acting against the resistance of the going train, thereby replacing the going barrel.
