Gallet & Cie, Swiss, "Chronograph", case No. 56891. Made in the 1930s. Unusual, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with oval shaped button chronograph, register, tachometer and telemeter. Three-body, polished and brushed, concave bezel. Matte silver with subsidiary dials for the hours and minutes at 12 and the 30-minute register at 6, outer 1/5th seconds scale and telemeter graduation, at the center, spiral tachometric scale. Blued steel “epée” hands.
