Likely French, 19th century. Large patinated iron metal advertising display sculpture in the form of a Napoleonic hat or bicorne (bicorn). Military hat used predominately by French, English, and American officers and generals of typical shape with rounded top and slightly upturned ends painted red with gilt borders and metal faux woven texture on strap and ends, weathered patina throughout. Unmarked. Approximate height 8" , width 26", depth 10.75".
