Very fine, elegant and very rare, self-winding, 18K white gold wristwatch with zero reset function and an 18K white gold A. Lange & Söhne buckle. Accompanied by the original box, certificate and manual. To be sold without reserve Three-body, solid, polished, transparent case back with 6 screws, hinged cuvette to view the movement, sapphire crystals. Solid silver with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track with 5-minute Arabic markers, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel alpha hands. Cal. L 921.2, fausses cotes decoration, 36 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator, 21K gold micro-rotor with platinum segment, hand-engraved balance bridge. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 10 mm. Notes To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Oeding-Erdel Jewelers in Münster, Lange made its first modern wristwatch with cuvette. Only two sets of 38 wristwatches (38 in pink gold and 38 in white gold) were produced. This is the first time this limited edition appears at auction
