H. R. EKEGREN, Genève, Suisse, made for J. E. Caldwell & Co. Philadelphia (U.S.A.), No. 78948, circa 1920. Very fine 18 ct. gold, keyless minute repeating watch, in original rosewood fitted box. Three body massive, demi-bassine, polished, with invisible hinge. Gold cuvette. White enamel with Breguet numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. 17-, rhodium plated, fausses côtes decoration, 31 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 47 mm.
