Bouma à Liege, circa 1850. Fine and unusual, solid oak, moon phase astronomical long case weight driven regulator, with triple calendar and equation of time. Louis XVI style, glazed on three faces, with fluted corners. Eglomized glass, with Roman numerals, inner subsidiary small date chapter and symmetrical months ring, half moon sector above for the equation of time and moon phase aperture below (refinished). Counterpoised blued steel hands, that of the equation set with a gilt brass sun. Rectangular polished brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, weight driven with endless rope, pin-wheel anchor escapement, grid-iron second beating pendulum with knife edge suspension. Dial signed. In very good condition. Dim. 195 x 62 x 22 cm.
