Morisset R. & C. Lukins, London, made for the Chinese market, circa 1780. Very rare and fine pair of gold, silver enamel and stones center-seconds watches. Paste set bezels, the backs with symetrical blue champlevé translucent enamelled scenes of birds in a garden. White enamel with Roman and Arabic numerals. Gold arrow hands. Gilt brass, full plate, fusee, verge escapement, English cock and diamond endstone. Very good condition. Diam. 48 mm. Morisset R. & D. Lukins, London, were famous as makers of boxes with enamel decoration during the latter half of the XVIII century.
