Isaac Phelippon, London, No. 300, circa 1750. Very fine 20 ct. gold mounted, moss agate pair cased, quarter repeating watch. Double body outer, pierced and chased with scrolls, floral and rocaille decoration and set with fine moss agate panels. Double body inner, bassine, pierced and engraved with a mask and foliage. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring with arched divisions. Gold Louis XV hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with column pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring and English type cock. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Signed on the gilt brass dust cap and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 45 mm. Notes This watch is recorded in G. H.
