Victor Jaquet à Saint Imier, Swiss, No. 7503, circa 1800. Fine and unusual silver watch with a concealed painted enamel erotic scene. Three body, Directoire, octagonal polished, the fixed cuvette enamelled with a painted scene depicting a young couple trying to find the best way to share the same seat (slightly restored). White enamel with Arabic numerals. Gold hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
