Ernest Guinand, Locle, No. 3321, made for the Spanish market circa 1870. Fine and early 18 ct. gold hunting-cased, pocket chronometer, with one minute tourbillon regulator. Five body massive,"quatre baguettes", the band and bezels chased with foliage, the covers engine turned and engraved with floral foliage and a blank cartouche. Glazed gold cuvette. Silver engine turned with applied gilt foliage decoration and Gothic Roman numerals. GiIt Louis XV hands. Notes This watch would appear to be the only example by Guinand with the bridges in the form of his initiais and the carriage is of a unique design.
