Molier à Genève, circa 1790. Fine and rare, 18 ct. gold, small watch with visible balance and special escapement. Double body, Directoire, polished with engraved bezels. Small eccentric with Breguet numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. GiIt brass dial-plate engraved with scrolls, balance visible below the dial. Inverted hinged gilt brass full plate with turned pillars, going barrel passing through the back plate, flat-wheel cylinder escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, blued steel balance bridge with ruby end-stone. Signed on the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 29 mm.
