Milleret, Genève, made for Aubert & Klaftenberger, Watchmakers to the Queen & H. R.H. the Prince Albert, No. 4704, 157 Regent Street, London, circa 1840. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel fob watch. Four body, "demi-bassine et filets" bezels and band chased with a floral decoration, the back fully enamelled with champleve flowers on a red translucent ground over engine-turning, outer champleve enamelled foliage decoration against a blue ground. Gold cuvette. Gold engine-turned with Roman numerals on a polished chapter, the center engraved with a foliage decoration. Blued steel hands. 14-, gilt brass, bar caliber, cylinder escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the cuvette and movement. In good condition. Diam. 37 mm.
