L. Ficher, 7, Rue de la Paix, Paris, circa 1900. Fine gilt bronze hour and half hour striking, hour repeating, table clock with alarm, barometer and thermometer, designed as a twin carriage clock. Twin "Corniche with turned columns", set on a marbIe base on each side on the thermometer fixed on the handle. Mat silvered on the right, with Roman numerals and subsidiary alarm setting dial. Blued steel " pear" hands. Mat silvered on the Ieft for the barometer. Engine-turned silvered dial plates. Brass with going barrels, platform straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, flat balance spring. Striking, alarm and repeating on a gong. Signed on the circular cartouche below the barometer. In very good condition. Dim. 22 x 26 x 13 cm.
