August Heckhel à Wien, No. 659, circa 1760. Fine 18 ct. three coloured gold, watch. Double body, Louis XV, the bezel chased with a floral decoration, the back with gardening trophies. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XVI hands. Hinged gilt brass with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock and garnet end-stone. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 37 mm.
