J. Dejardin, No. 473, circa 1880. Very fine gilt brass and enamel, hour and half hour striking and repeating carriage clock. Gilt brass, "gorge", glazed on three faces, fully . engraved and enamelled with white flowers over a blue ground. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued-steel Breguet hands. Fully enamelled dial-plate with a floral decoration matching that of the case. Brass, rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, blued-steel flat balance spring. Striking and repeating on a bell with button on the top. Trade Mark on the back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 13 x 8 x 6 cm., excluding the handle.
