Levol à Paris, circa 1810. An imposing and fine quality gilt bronze and " marbre grillotte" clock set comprising the clock and a matched pair of "pots pouris" urns. Two-tier marbie base with applied gilt bronze acanthus, mask and "palmette" mount, supporting elaborately chased urn flanked by berried foliage and semi-crouched female supporters, the cover pierced with anthemions, with cone finial supported by palm foliage. The urns of somewhat smiller size and complimentary decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals and inner date ring. Pierced gilt hands. Circular brass plates with going barrels, short pendulum with silk suspension, hour and half hour striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dim. 59 x 29 x 21 cm. clock. 45 x 15 x 15 cm. urns
